This is the Liar Paradox.
It was discovered by a greek logician in the 4th century B.C.
A paradox is something difficult to comprehend.
There are no truth value to such sentences~
Another example would be..
'This Sentence Is False'
It is also neither true nor false.
The Liar Paradox is a statement that cannot consistently be true or false at the same time.
This paradox 1st made its appearance whn Epimenides said 'The Cretans Are Always Liars'
The Liar Paradox show the contradiction whn the truth and false are brought together.
Under both hypothesis of true or false, the statements are always both true and false.
It's impossible to decide what is the best answer to such a paradoxical question.
There are no answers.
It is up to the reader to think.
The truth is complex.
Everybody decides the real truth for themselves.
They believe what they want to believe.
Even if it is false.
That is the process of self delusion.
People look at the truth from different points of view, from different angles.
There is no absoulute truth.
Only the truth which people determine for themselves.
Everybody only believes in themselves.
They think what they say goes.
What is the truth?
That is for ourselves to decide.
Do you hav more examples of liar paradoxes?
If yes, thn you are encouraged to post it as comments so that other users can have a look.
